Waiver and Release of Liability
By submitting a registration form, I agree to indemnify, protect, defend, and hold Kansas City Cornhole, LLC, and its staff, members, leaders, volunteers, and/or agents from and against any cost, damage, expense, claim, or liability caused by or arising out of my use of, presence at, participation in, or trips to and from the locations utilized by Kansas City Cornhole, LLC, including any injury or death of any person, any damage to any real or personal property on or about premise utilized by Kansas City Cornhole, LLC, or belonging to Kansas City Cornhole, LLC and any attorneys fees and/or costs arising out of this agreement.
By submitting a registration form, I, the undersigned, hereby waive any and all claims that I or my heirs may have against the staff, members, leaders, volunteers, and/or agents of Kansas City Cornhole, LLC for any injuries or property damages which may arise while I am attending and/or participating in a league, event, or gathering offered by Kansas City Cornhole, LLC. I acknowledge that this waiver includes any claim for wrongful death, personal injury or property damage suffered by myself, caused by or arising out of the negligence of Kansas City Cornhole, LLC or its staff, members, leaders, volunteers, and/or agents.
By submitting a registration form, I acknowledge that Kansas City Cornhole, LLC is not responsible for any inclement weather nor field or venue condition which may negatively affect any league, event, or gathering and release and waive all claims against Kansas City Cornhole, LLC, its staff, members, leaders, volunteers, and/or agents for damage or loss that may arise therefrom. I further agree that I have read and understand the League Rules, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and will follow such League Rules and Terms of Service and agree to abide by their terms and conditions.
By submitting a registration form, I acknowledge that I am responsible for reviewing any subsequent iteration to the League Rules and Terms of Service and may choose to cease my involvement in activities hosted by Kansas City Cornhole, LLC if I disagree with any subsequent iteration or refuse to abide by any subsequent iteration. I acknowledge that I am responsible for reviewing these materials periodically in order to make myself aware of any such subsequent iterations and am also aware that these will be made available to me at all times at http://kansascitycornhole.com, or upon my request.
By submitting a registration form, I acknowledge that Kansas City Cornhole, LLC, its staff, members, leaders, volunteers, and/or agents may, from time to time, post pictures, photos or images taken at events they sponsor on their website at http://kansascitycornhole.com or other social media websites for marketing, advertising, dissemination, or any other purpose, at their discretion. I hereby release and waive any and all rights to such pictures, photos or images that contain my image or likeness subject to a request for removal of any such pictures, photos or images that contains my image or likeness that I specifically request, in writing (email is sufficient), to be removed.
League Rules
Players: All players must be at least 21 years old to participate.
Ejections: Fighting, wrestling, dissent or pushing will NOT be tolerated and will result in immediate ejection from the league altogether. Verbal abuse of officials, fighting, foul language, poor sportsmanship and continued rough play could also result in player ejections. Any abusive use of equipment can also result in ejection. Kansas City Cornhole, LLC reserves the right to remove a player from the league for excessive infractions and also reserves the right to limit or exclude a players participation in any league or event based on any actions in another league or event.
E-mail: A teams e-mail address is mandatory! No Exceptions! Kansas City Cornhole, LLC will communicate with captains and their partners solely through e-mail regarding schedules, playoff times, etc. If you do not have an e-mail address, you must have an assistant captain’s e-mail address listed on the roster. It is the responsibility of the captain to keep Kansas City Cornhole, LLC updated on his/her current e-mail address. Phone number is also highly recommended. We will only provide you with updates regarding the Kansas City Cornhole, LLC and never give emails or phone numbers out to 3rd parties. Placement: Space is limited. Sign-up does not guarantee placement. Payment is due for everyone on the team by the sign-up deadline. Spots are not confirmed until payment is received. Your spot on a team will be forfeited if you do not sign-up and pay by the sign-up deadline. There is a $20 charge for all returned checks.
Injury Refunds: Kansas City Cornhole, LLC is not responsible for any refunds as a result of injury by a participant occurring at any time during the season. It is the responsibility of the injured party to replace him/herself on the roster if he/she so chooses. They must also notify Kansas City Cornhole, LLC of any change to the roster. The new substitute will only be allowed to participate for prizes if replacement is made prior to week three.
Refunds: Unfortunately, NO refunds will be issued for any requests made before, on, or after the original league start date (the only exception is if the league is canceled). Kansas City Cornhole, LLC reserves the right to cancel any league for any reason. If a league is canceled we will issue a refund minus any service fees. Scheduling: Due to excessive inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, Kansas City Cornhole, LLC reserves the right to cancel or postpone any matches at any time. Odd number leagues may result in one or more bye weeks. Kansas City Cornhole, LLC might need to extend the schedule to accommodate for holidays and/or other events. Teams may be required to play make up games or playoff games on a day or night other than their scheduled day or night. Generally we look for establishments that have sufficient indoor space for our leagues so we can avoid most weather conditions. If for any reason we need to cancel a particular league night, all league team captains will be notified of any changes or cancellations via email and/or phone provided during registration.
Substitutions: For regular season play, we would prefer that you bring a substitute and play, rather than not show up. We just ask that one person playing be a legitimate team member. Each team member that registers MUST show for a minimum of 6 regular season matches! If a team member is unable to make the minimum amount of scheduled games the team will NOT compete in the playoffs. Absolutely NO ringer teams in the playoffs! If one team member is not able to make the the playoffs they will receive a forfeit.
Forfeits: We don’t want anyone to forfeit, and will try to accommodate the schedule the best we can. Although, if a regular season match is not made up by the conclusion of the last week of regular season it will count as a forfeit. Please notify us in advance of any dates you are unable to attend. Kansas City Cornhole, LLC requires a 24 hour notification of a canceled game (in a attempt to reschedule) otherwise it will result in a forfeit. If we were not notified and a team does not show up within 20 minutes of the start time they will forfeit the match. All playoff games must be played on there scheduled night.
Scoring: It is the responsibility of all participants to keep score and report the accurate scores to the official. If a player desires to make a protest, the protest shall be made to the judge or tournament official at the time the problem occurs. The league commissioner/judge shall make the final ruling on all protests. We are a NO Skunk league, take some time to get the know the people you are playing and enjoy yourself.

Prizes: Kansas City Cornhole, LLC events are more than just a game for cash prizes. They are about having fun, competing for an event title and building a community. We want these experiences to be fun and enjoyable to all those who participate! Kansas City Cornhole, LLC is not required to have a prize. All prizes are announced on a league to league basis.
